WHAT: |
Tuthill won three Emerald City Awards at the eighteenth annual
Emerald City Awards Banquet. The Banquet is held each year to
honor the region's best video and multimedia work and the people
who created them. Tuthill won an Emerald City Award for his
documentary "Understanding the Six Forms of Emotional Child
Abuse," another for his documentary "Understanding the
Relationship Between Emotional Child Abuse and Workplace
Dysfunction," and a third Emerald Award for his public service
announcement for "The Center Foundation."
Tuthill also was a
finalist in the 21st Annual National Telly Awards for his
documentary "Understanding the Six Forms of Emotional Child
Abuse." The Documentary is being distributed by Aquarius
Productions on the East Coast and FMS Productions Inc., on the
West Coast.
Tuthill just placed his most recent public service
announcement, produced for Childhaven, On UPN TV-11 and PAX
TV33. KIRO TV-7 and KOMO TV-4 are scheduled to begin airing it
in late December.
Tuthill just completed production on his full length feature
"Dysphoria" which received partial funding from the Kelly
Foundation of Washington. The film is based on Tuthill's play
"Survivors" which was produced by the Northshore Theatre
Guild. The film tells the story of a teenage boy who is driven
to a murderous rage by his abusive stepfather. Tuthill plans on
placing the film in festivals worldwide after post-production
is completed. |
