Autumn Tree Productions consists of volunteers, President and Executive Director Oliver Tuthill and a board of directors. Board directors serve for a period of one year with an option to renew once a year. Vice president Paul Schaber, owner of The Management Trust, a human resource development consulting firm, has been on the board for five years. Past presidents include former Seattle community policing bureau director Nancy McPherson and seminar leader Ann Evanston. Enriquo Cerna, executive producer of local program production at KCTS television, a PBS affiliate, sits on an advising board for ATP along with Mitchell W. Block, President of Direct Cinema Limited, and Bob Pinson, president of Pinson philanthropy. Other board members include psychiatrist Jordan Robinson, and retired pediatrician Maurice L. Stephens, M.D.

Film is considered by many to be the most powerful form of communication in the world today. It crosses all social economic classes and has changed the way people feel and think about issues. Filmmaker of documentaries Michael Moore has changed people's perceptions about guns and corporate layoffs with his films Bowling for Columbine and Roger and Me.

ATP is bringing about a change in perspective as well, and its films are being acquired by such organizations as Maui Memorial Medical Center, Army Community Service, United States Postal Service, Program Headstart, The University of Loyola, the Federal Prison Camp, Memorial Hospital of Sweden, The University of Texas, Insight Media, and the Government of British Columbia.

ATP is also receiving pro bono assistance from Mazzba Productions for website design and maintenance (original site design by Grouchy Productions), and Alexander Auerbach & Co., Inc. for public relations and marketing communications.

ATP has won numerous awards for its public service announcements, documentaries, and has been featured in newspapers and magazine articles throughout the world.

Autumn Tree Productions was incorporated on March 15, 1995 as a non-profit, 501(c)(3) corporation and received its 501(c)(3) status in October of 1995.
